KOKPIT

Privacy

Kokpit sends anonymous usage data to improve the app: an install id (not your identity), app version, phone and car model, state, how many times each feature is used, and crash reports. It also sends licence state, whether a car is connected, head-unit size and the phone's zone/locale.

What is NEVER sent: no location or coordinates, no place names, no searches, no song or video titles, no spoken text, no phone numbers, no contacts, and no Gemini key. No religion field — nothing about prayer times, azan, mosques or prayer-free mode is recorded.

The "Send usage data" switch (Settings → Help & data) stops it. When off, the app sends one delete request and we remove your install row, usage counts and crash reports from the server.

Support reports are sent only when you tap the "Report a problem" button. A report carries your Kokpit ID (the licence device id) so we can find your licence, plus Kokpit's own logs (scrubbed — no locations, place names, searches or phone numbers).

At checkout we store your WhatsApp number/email to deliver your licence code and provide support, and your marketing-consent status. The sales site sets one kk_src cookie (HttpOnly, 30 days) recording which link/ad brought you here — only that, no personal identifier.

Retention: support and crash reports are deleted after 180 days; usage counts after 400 days; installs not seen for 400 days (and their counts) are deleted too.

The Meta Conversions API is only sent (SHA-256 hashed number/email) if you ticked consent at checkout. The Play Data Safety form matches what is sent.
