Frequently asked questions
Do I need a hotspot or car internet?
No. Kokpit uses your phone's data, just like watching YouTube on your phone.
Will my car work?
If your car has Android Auto (wired or wireless), Kokpit is built for it. We test in a Honda HR-V 2023. If it doesn't work and we can't help, you get your money back within 7 days.
Does iPhone work?
No. Apple does not allow an app like this on CarPlay. Kokpit is for Android 8.0 and newer phones.
Does Netflix work?
Netflix plays in the Netflix app on your phone, and the car screen controls it (play, pause, ±10 seconds). The Netflix picture does not appear on the car screen because Netflix itself blocks it.
Does YouTube have ads?
If you have YouTube Premium, sign in once on your phone and there are no ads in the car.
Will my car warranty be affected?
No. Nothing is installed in the car. Unplug the phone and the car is back to normal.
Is it safe?
Kokpit is for passengers. Without Premium, the video picture is hidden while the car moves. The driver must stay focused on the road.
Why isn't it on the Play Store?
Kokpit is sold directly on this site so the price stays a one-time payment. Install it with KingInstaller; the guide is above.
Changing phones later?
Move the licence yourself on the Transfer licence page, up to 3 times a year.
How do I get the Premium code?
After paying, enter your Phone ID (open the Kokpit app on your phone, the Premium · Passenger Mode section). Your licence code appears at once.
